Exclusive reissue of Campert (Dox Classics edition)
Dox Records and Music On Vinyl are releasing an exclusive reissue on 180-gram vinyl on 18 March. This collectors item is the second disc in the Dox Classics series. The sold-out cd version has also been reissued.
”I have exceptionally fond memories of making this album and working with Remco. Happy to see that Campert is available again,” comments Benjamin Herman
This unique, limited-edition numbered vinyl record with a printed inner sleeve and download code can be pre-ordered in the Dox webshop from now on. The first 25 buyers receive a copy signed by Benjamin Herman.
Live gig (+ pre-sale)
An exclusive show is programmed for 16 March at Paradox, Tilburg. The first vinyl editions will be available on sale at the theatre. Unfortunately, Remco Campert is not well enough to take the stage; actor Pierre Bokma has kindly agreed to play his role at this performance.
It was in 2007 that Benjamin Herman was inspired by a documentary about writer and poet Remco Campert entitled De tijd duurt één mens lang (Time takes a man a lifetime). Besides the poems, it was Campert’s extraordinary candour that struck Herman. His compositions appear on Campert, hailed enthusiastically by fans and critics alike.
